My vehicle was dropped off on Thursday for a 7:30am appointment on Friday for a software update on my ID4. I was called on Friday morning to see if my car could be left at the service department over the weekend. What was not communicated was that my car was not going to be serviced until Monday morning so my car was in the service parking lot all weekend. A more transparent communication would have been: We will not be able to service your car today. Would you like to leave you car here over the weekend or pick it up today and return it on Monday? Very disappointing as I needed to juggle my weekend driving activities with my husband's schedule and the use of only one car in our household.
